Zokuu is an offline alarm clock. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you create — alarms, settings, and your choice of alarm sound — stays on your device. Zokuu has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and contacts no servers.
This Privacy Policy describes how the Zokuu mobile application ("Zokuu", "the app", "we") handles information when you use it. By installing or using Zokuu, you agree to the practices described here. Zokuu is operated by the developer identified above, who is the entity responsible for data handling in the app.
None that leaves your device. Zokuu does not require an account, login, or sign-up. We do not collect, request, or have access to your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, or any other personal or sensitive user data.
Zokuu has no network code. It does not connect to any server, analytics service, advertising network, or third-party SDK. Because no data is transmitted off the device, we cannot see, store, or receive any of your information.
To work as an alarm clock, Zokuu saves the following on your device only, in the app's private storage (Android SharedPreferences, store name zokuu_alarm_store). This data is never uploaded:

This locally stored data contains only alarm configuration. It is not personal or sensitive information, and it is not shared with us or anyone else.
You may optionally choose an audio file from your device as an alarm sound. When you do, the app uses the Android system file picker; you explicitly select a single file. Zokuu stores a reference to that file (and may keep a local cached copy) so it can play it when the alarm rings. The selected audio is used only to play your alarm and is never uploaded or shared. Zokuu does not browse, scan, or access your media library beyond the single file you pick.
If you choose a spoken (text-to-speech) alarm, the text you type is spoken aloud by your device's built-in Android text-to-speech engine when the alarm rings. The text is stored locally with your alarm and is processed on-device by the operating system. Speech generation is handled by Android, subject to your device manufacturer's and Google's settings.
Zokuu requests only permissions needed to deliver reliable alarms. None are used to collect data.

Selecting a custom alarm sound uses the Android system file picker and does not grant Zokuu broad access to your files or media.
The locally stored alarm and settings data is used solely to provide the app's alarm functionality on your device. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose other than running the alarms you create.
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party. No data is sent to us or to any external service, because the app has no networking. The only off-device processing that can occur is your operating system's own text-to-speech, performed by Android on your device when you use a spoken alarm.
Your alarm data is kept in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps on the device. Because Zokuu transmits no data over the internet, there is no data in transit to intercept and no server-side copy to breach. Protecting the device itself (screen lock, OS updates, encryption) is handled by your device and its settings.

Zokuu is a general-purpose alarm clock and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, note that the app stores no such information off-device; you may clear the app's data or uninstall it at any time.
Zokuu integrates no third-party advertising, analytics, or data-collection SDKs. The app is distributed through Google Play; your download and the app's permissions are also subject to Google Play's own terms and privacy practices, which are outside our control.
Since all data stays on your device and we hold none of it, you can exercise full control directly: view, edit, or delete any alarm in the app, and erase everything by clearing app data or uninstalling. For any privacy question, reach us at the contact below.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
